Hello you beautiful Rebels and welcome Back to another video in today's video We are unboxing reviewing and talking About the bloody home battery backup System so let's go Bendy thing Ready oh My goodness That's heavy 80 pounds whoa Foreign Joseph is our Tech guy he does all the Tech stuff and today he'll be talking About the bloody battery pack system all Right so this is our bloody home battery Backup system it is comprised of a Bloody ac500 and a blue b300s and these Are stackable as I'm going to show you Right now one thing to note make sure to Lift with your legs and not your back The ac500 weighs about 60 pounds and the B300s weighs about 80 pounds they are Heavy Foreign [Music] Solar panel we actually have three of These for solar charging all of our Battery backup systems the ac500 here is Expandable to meet all of your needs you Can use one b300s or you can use six so It'll take you anywhere from 3072 Watt Hours all the way up to 18 432 Watt hours just a quick search Online on Google tells me that the Average American household would use 27
Kilowatt hours per day on average that Means the booty system even at six P 300s is 18 432 Watt hours wouldn't quite make up The necessary 27 kilowatt hours for your Household for the day But that is because this is meant as a Battery backup system which is intended For emergency purposes only to meet your Basic needs and I think a bloody ac500 And b300s could do that in a day pretty Easily if we assume a 3 000 Watt hours Per day the system would work perfectly Fine for your terrain on emergency if You needed six days worth you might need To stock six of the b300s's now some of The reasons you would choose a Bluetooth System over a gas powered generator Would be that there is no fuel cost no Noise no pollution it's safe to use Indoors while pitching a tent in an RV Any of that you can use it anywhere Safely without worrying about it one Thing to note though like most Electronics they are not waterproof and So it should not be used in a outdoor Rainy condition however they are rated From down to minus 20 to 40 degrees Celsius now I do know several people who Have set up a blue for their off-grid System and that's because they have Reduced their consumption to the point Where they can set up a system like this Which will provide enough power art from
Their solar panels to the battery Backups to supply their whole house last Summer we even brought our blue camping We have an AC 200 and we have an eb3a we Have used both of those camping they Worked fantastic This one might not be so much a camping One unless we're going on like a long Trip and you want to bring it with lots Of power I think it'll work really well Just a little bit on the heavy side Another time where you might want a System like this is if you live in a Region or a town or a city that loses Power pretty often like we do and our Power just goes out we don't really know When or if it's going to happen and we Have two freezers in our garage that Have a lot of food that we have stored From the garden and food that we have Bought on clearance that's storing in There and we're going to be using Systems like this to make sure that that Food doesn't spoil and the freezers Don't thaw very important for our family As mentioned we would be using these in Our garage to power two of our freezers And let's say the freezer is used Between 30 and 100 watts per hour We could say that the average there is Around 65 watt hours which means that 2 Times 65 watt hours would be 130 Watt Hours if we do a little bit of math so We can find out that the 3 000 Watt
Hours provided by the bluegie system Would give us roughly a day's worth for Both of those freezers plugged in for 24 Hours which means our food will not Spoil the freezes would not thaw and we Would be covered unless of course those Blackouts will lasted Beyond a day which Around here usually a day is pretty good Or a few hours or several hours nothing Really beyond that so far unless it's Like a really really bad storm The B300 acts as the battery And the ac500 works as the controller to The battery with all the output ports And the input ports Now to get these working since this is Not a battery we have to connect the Ac500 to the b300s So we do that with these big power Cables That Here Just make sure to slide the lock buttons Up here into the locked position and Then you can go ahead and turn on your Ac500 or B300 and they will turn on and Sync for your AC 120 ports you have Three of your typical household ports Here you have your 120 L1430 Port here as well we have one TT 30 Port here and the last one we have is A Nema 14-50 port and for the DC ports Here we have two USBC at 100 watts and Then we have four USB a ports and on the
Side here we have two more DC outputs we Have one which is a RV Outlet And then we have your typical Car Outlet As well and then on the b300s you have Your car charging port and then you have Two USB ports USBC and usba in addition To the front-facing ports you have two Wireless charging pads at the top of the Ac500 one of the things I like about Bluetooth is that there are multiple Ways of charging it we can charge it by Plugging it into the wall we can charge It by plugging it into a solar panel or Many solar panels in this case we Probably want to use three to four solar Panels to charge it we can charge it by Using a lead battery from a car type Thing that works as well you can charge It by using a gas generator as well and You can multi-charge it meaning you can Do multiple ways of charging at the same Time I could plug it into my wall and Charge it as well as connecting solar Panels simultaneously to add to the Charge one other thing that I like about Bluetooth is I do have an app You can download it and connect it Directly to your ac500 Inside the app you can do things like Monitor the battery life and you can Switch it from AC to DC whenever you Want as I mentioned one of our most Favorite features about the Bluetooth is That we can power it with our solar
Panels at this point we have three blue Dpb 200 solar panels and that'll charge These things relatively fast you can see Here right now it's plugged into the Solar panels there's the flashing light Around the 80 Mark and that's telling You right now that it is charging up so To get started you just bring your solar Panel outside you stand it up it does Have a couple legs on it if you need to Tilt it back to capture the most sun and Then once that's set up you detach the Cable from the back you run it to the Side here on the b300s and then you plug In the black to Black and the red to red And you are good to go and Welcome to Our slightly messy garage I just wanted To show you guys how we would have this Set up in case of emergency and what we Would do with it In this particular case we have two Extension cables one running to this Freezer and one running to this freezer Both of them are coming into the front Of the blue ac500 and we turned on the AC power and these are now running Properly and that is how we plan to use Our blue D ac500 and b300s at least Until our camping trips this summer and Don't forget to go check out bloody the Link is in the description go check them Out get dirty stay magical peace bye
